APAPRO METHODS OF USE
Tooth preparation and cleaning
Application may vary depending on the patient's condition and needs, but generally APAPRO should be applied to a clean tooth surface using a rubber polishing cup or other soft polishing tip attached to a dental handpiece, or a custom-made tray for the patient.
Very gentle cleaning, preferably non-mechanical, is recommended, for example, using a solvent such as sodium hypochlorite (NaOCl) gel, which can remove organic matter – plaque and stains, and in the presence of exposed dentin – collagen fibers.

The gel should be applied to each tooth surface for 20-30 seconds (up to 1 minute for stubborn stains), avoiding contact with the gums, using a single-tuft brush or similar manual instrument, treating several teeth at a time.
If mechanical cleaning is unavoidable, it is recommended to use a prophylactic paste with the lowest possible abrasiveness (lowest RDA).
Application with a rubber cup
When applying the paste to all teeth, for example for general care, approximately 2 g (about a 2 cm strip) of paste should be used for the upper teeth and a similar amount for the lower teeth, with a small amount spread over each tooth with a rubber cup.

For general use, 1-2 g (about a 1-2 cm strip) of APAPRO is recommended for the upper and lower dentition, or the same amount for a single tooth unit requiring more intensive care.
Rotating the cup at a low speed (500–750 rpm), gently massage the paste into the tooth surface:
20–30 seconds – for areas requiring additional care
5–10 seconds – for general care
Massage the entire tooth surface, including interdental corners and the gumline up to the chewing surface, until only a small amount of paste remains on the teeth.
Unwaxed microfibre or sponge-structure interdental floss can be used to distribute the paste between the teeth, to protect against interdental caries, followed by a light rinse with water.

Application with a custom tray
Application in the clinic with a custom-made tray for the patient, tailored to their needs, is also recommended.
In cases of severe surface erosion, dentin sensitivity, or mineral loss where long-term treatment is required, professional care can be supplemented by prescribing the patient a personal tray and an individual package of APAPRO paste for home use once a day or once a week as instructed by the dentist.
Patients are recommended to use the paste in the evening after brushing their teeth – spread a thin layer in the tray and place it on the teeth for 5 minutes, then remove the tray, rinse it, and lightly rinse the mouth with water.
