Regarding oral microflora, SANGI nano<mHAP> has been found to selectively bind to and remove not only bacteria from the Mutans streptococci family, which are known as one of the main causes of tooth decay, but also periodontitis-related bacteria such as P. gingivalis and A. actinomycetemcomitans, as well as Candida—an opportunistic fungal microorganism often found in the oral cavity.
Nano<mHAP> collects and removes these microorganisms but does not kill them, unlike antiseptics or bactericides, which typically act equally on all microflora—both beneficial and harmful bacteria.
For this reason, nano<mHAP> can gently reduce the proportion of harmful microorganisms in the overall oral microflora, thereby helping to create a more favorable and balanced ecosystem of microorganisms in the mouth.
